Kate & Henry's Story
Hi, we are Kate and Henry. We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter Brianna, who no longer wears nappies, and we are expecting our next baby in june.
When I was pregnant, I was in the final year of an environmental conservation degree, so we looking into real nappies from a 'green' point of view.
Then we saw how much money we could save, and our minds were made up!!
We used a mixture of different types of nappies for Bri - prefolds, shaped, and all in ones. In total, we probably spent about £500 on real nappies, wraps, liners, and washable wipes. It sounds a lot until you work out that you would probably spend the same amout in 6 months on disposables! And we get to reuse these nappies on the next baby, and the next, and the next............!!
