Jeni's Story
Hi, I'm Jeni, mother of Iolo 4 years and Beti nearly 9 months old.
I orginially decided to use washables before Iolo was born due to the environmental impact but found that the savings were huge too! I tried lots of different types of washable nappies on my little boy and found that organic cotton Terry Squares and MotherEase One Size worked well for him.
When Beti was first born we mainly used a folded muslin with a ProWrap and a fleece liner but also used some shaped Velcro nappies (Little Lamb), Poppered Shaped (Bimble, MothereEase) Pre Folds (Bambino Mio, ElliPants), an All in one (Wonderoos microfibre pads) and the odd eco disposable at night when exhausted after 2 or more changes.
I now using washables full time- MotherEase one size (Iolo’s) and the Bamboo version at night and Bamboo terry squares both with Motherease wraps (also Iolo’s).
